And enterprise was not the first warp capable ship. Just the first captained by Sam Beckett

OK let's just end this. SW, The empire needs the Deathstar to destroy a planet. ST, either the Genesis device can be use to destroy and recreate a planet or if all else fails Soran's missile can be used to destroy the entire system.

Ummm... no. In SW, all the later Destroyers can kill a planet like the Gen or the missile.
