Just a suggestion for dialog. Type it into a word processor first, like Microsoft Word or Open Office, just for spelling and grammar checks.
There are a lot of neat tricks you can do in the Foundry, frankly I play some missions and think "holy shit why didn't I ever think of that!" lol. You can make amazing missions in there, they just require time.

Yea, finding the time might be a problem... I'll squeeze in a few hours, just to get my feet wet and we'll go from there. If I'm really getting into it, I'll make the time...

I do wish they'd have the foundry up while the game servers were down, so it's not such dead time.................

I agree, game outage = much Foundry programming time!!!

How long does it take to program an average mission? I figure the more complex it is the longer it takes, of course--but my game time is limited to begin with, so I don't know that I'd want to invest much. I'd love to try my hand at it, though...

Setting up a mission is fairly easy and doesn't take long. What takes up time is all the testing and taking care of the details. I once made a Borg mission (which got lost accidentally), which took me about 4 hours to make. But I didn't add any details to it. So you should probably ask Attilio and be prepared to answer the question "What does an average mission mean to you?". ![]()

I've not really done any proper missions. Working on one, but it takes some time tweeking it, especially when it's the first - for example on anything that you want to position in the map, levels of enemies and so on. It's also not something that I can sit and just do for hours and hours as I also want to play the game, so I tend to dip in and out now and then, which makes it seem longer
