How to install hanger pets

I have the Jupiter science ship/carrier. I recently attained enough reputation to build/purchase elite hanger pets. How do I install these into the system over the falcon ship that they come with?

Yup, same way as other equipment. Just keep in mind that some equipment (including hanger pets) can't be used on certain ships so make sure you read the description.
