That is sad, I never hated Wesley. I thought he was a nice character, a bit dorky but nice.  I can understand why others did  hate him but he wasn't as bad as say Adric of doctor who fame. 

I saw one or two of the Adric episodes and I was constantly shouting "shut up" to the screen each time he talked. 

Though story wise not sure how they would have Wesley return or why.

I would like to see Whhil Whheaton (family guy viewers understand) he was a dork on the show, but sometimes I got the feeling that he was a surrogate son for Picard, who was always my favorite captain.

indeed he was/will be, if you go by the inevitability that Beverly and Jean Luc do marry in the end, but he sure did lose a lot of favor with him after that little Red Squad mess.

speaking of hair..... binging on DS9 on Netflix and I have to say that Kira's hairstyle in season 4 is just god awful.... what were they thinking?
