Grinding Spec Points
#1
Okay, we have a double XP weekend coming up next weekend and I have a couple of captains (AoY captains) that I want to fill up some trees.  What is the best method for grinding spec points on a level 60?

I'm looking for a hour or less long round (i.e. Tholian Red Alert, Borg Red Alert, ISA, and then Badlands Battlezone; repeat)

The Red Alerts are absolute bangers for experience, but there are a few system missions that are good too.

Japori is good, but Argala is the best for xp.

For Argala make sure it puts you against Kazon. You can either finish the entire thing, or warp out at the final boss and warp back in. Rinse and repeat depending on your level of patience.

Remember system missions have a 30 minute cool down

You can also team with people who have subscriptions as depending on their length they have experience bonuses.

1000-day vets get a 5% bonus to team xp

Good tip for any time. Do the Federation Admiralty assignments. After completing 10 tour of duty assignments you get 2 spec points. Plus you get a decent amount of experience from the assignments as well.

Another tip for teaming up: Have someone on your team who uses the Command spezialisqtion as primary. That will give an additional bonus of 5%, iirc.

Maybe through the week we should try to plan a few fleet excursions geared at maximum XP. I will talk with JB tonight during the weekly battlezone and see if next weeks he can set one up for best XP gain. Also, if several team members get the 5% bonus does that by any chance stack to benefit the entire team?

Unfortunately it doesn't stack

Gotta correct myself about the Command Specialisation. It's +2,5% XP per Team member (or 10% max), but apparently you must have it as primary Specialisation yourself and you must have bought its Extrovert ability.

I need to grind XP on both my Fed sci and Fed Engy. I too am lifetime so I'm available to run missions. A good idea is to maybe get some XP boosts from the exchange or if someone has a few to spare they can pass them around as needed
