The New Miracle Worker specialization may end up being a good secondary choice to make up for Engineer Skills tree still lacking, with Intel being the new preferred primary.

that setup will crank the most out of your weapons capabilities at the cost of survivability if they aren't maxed out to lvl 14/mk XIV, leaving the survivability part of coverage to your consoles, set bonuses, and specialization tree choices.

I will need to learn it. I could use it right now. I am having problems with my new ship. Had to default back to my old one just to complete a mission. Was not happy about that.
