I wouldn't say that they alone are worth buying the lts, but it's a nice to have.

As an eng-tank in the main, having some capable options for busting out the dual heavy cannons is never a bad thing.

Are the T6 destroyers worth it - especially the Fed one?  Is it going to be any better than a Fleet T6 Arbiter - you don't see many flying around and I can't figure if it is because so few people are life-time accounts or that the ships just are not that great. 

I'm definitely hanging on for this coming black friday - seems like now is the time for me to commit to this game in a big way for various reasons.

the manticore seems to be the ship of choice on youtube for torpedo builds and i have contemplated grabbing it myself, but i figured i don't want the same cookie cutter build everyone else has. also, that ship requisition is account bound, so you can give it to one of your toons if you don't like your choices for your fed captain.

That's interesting thanks - I've never actually tried a top build but if/when I get a lifetime account I guess that would be the time to try it.  Are Toro builds still viable in S13 with all the changes?

They definitely still are a viable option - especially with the traits etc that the Terran rep brought into the game.

hmm thanks for letting me know - sounds like an interesting option.  I really like torps but by builds have all been pure energy (all beams or all canons) for a while because the DPS seems so much higher.

Torp builds just take practice, which also take time - and I don't have the time to practice lol so I stick to what I know.

I didn't regret the lifetime sub at all it applied to all of your characters and gives you those few extra perks. It may not seem like much, but it's more then you think.

Another thing about the LTS ships, they are also on par as the fastest ships around with the Vesta, Odyssey, or Dauntless class ships if you want to beat the timer for the Tour The Galaxy cash grab daily mission (and the only way to do so for rom or kdf toons if you weren't around for the Risian cruiser)
