Generations though, ya gotta love Kirk and Picard in the same movie! (yet i half expect Shat to somehow show up in the Kelvin timeline if Thor can come back for the next movie)
First Contact was probably the best tng era movie (for lack of no DS9 or VOY movies, which probably is where Cryptic got the arcs from)
Insurrection though is tng's #4/5

Yeah I agree, First Contact was the movie that made me think really long and hard about the choice that I made in relation to what I thought was the best movie of all time (had it not been for the Wrath of Khan and First Contact definitely would have been my vote). My only wish was that Christopher Lloyd played Zephram Cochrane ( would have been more humorous because he's got the whole "mad scientist" routine down pat)..... and my only qualm with Generations was that there was not enough space battle scenes that would have involved Captain Picard and Captain Kirk at the same time battling against the enemy would have made William Shatner's role more finite and memorable. Speaking of Wil Shat I'm really wondering how come he hasn't done any voice acting for STO (even Leonard Nimoy "hopped the bandwagon at an early enough stage on this due to the rising popularity of this game over the past couple of years (which I'm grateful for because he recently passed away- kind of sucks that he did..... which was a major blow in the Star Trek community, well I know we don't live forever, but come on....that's that's Mr. Spock). Shatner in the Kelvin..hmmm, he's probably been turning down acting roles for the past few years (I think that's the reason that JJ ran with Leonard and Zach in the new trek movies.... still it would be nice to get him to do some voice acting for Star Trek online, well I mean he is the only recognizable "Captain Kirk" that anyone regardless of age would ever truly recognize).

that and his schedule filming on other long-term projects like Boston Legal, plus it would have to be another temporal episode which they are getting away from with the current season.
