Undiscovered Lock Box + NX Refit in Lobi Store

New Lock Box is out, and they added the NX refit to the Lobi Store.

The NX ship Trait looks interesting, seems the devs are trying to make Beam: Overload and Canon: Rapid Fire more interesting:

Preferential Targeting

• Activating Beam: Fire at Will and Cannon: Scatter Volley will cause Beam: Overload and Cannon: Rapid Fire to deal 50% additional damage for the next 30 seconds.

yea i think that trait will go great with my cannon build since I use rapid fire more than scatter volley. but since I WANT the ship too, that's just icing on the cake

one thing though, from closer inspection of the pics and video, it doesn't look like Doug's exact version, but an interim stage, since there's supposed to be a shuttle bay in the secondary hull.

And how is the trait? Does it effect the Overload effect on [Over] mods?

There has been an update on the Trait Preferential Targeting.

I have delayed answering this question until all of it will make sense. I am sorry I have waited so long.
The Preferential Targeting Starship Trait affects any instance of a beam firing an Overload. This happens if you trigger the Overload shot via the bridge officer power or via the [Over] proc. This does not affect all shots fired while you have the Beam Overload Buff.
To answer the second question, 100% "Category 1" is correct.

Some players also tested this, and confirmed the the trait works with [Over] Beams. 
But as the bonus damage is a Cat 1 boost, the total additional damage is actual negligible on a Cat 1 saturated build (=most high end builds).
