I have no FREAKING idea where I'm going with this, but in trying to learn more about procs from sets and energy types to complement them I came up with this to mess around on my fleet Yamato... and it is actually pretty dang fun! My first beam array is actually the chroniton polaron from Time and Tide. The second polaron is the T&T omni and the blank tac slot is the T&T console. This dude is a tac capt so don't know if I could morph this into a viable tank or just roll it out as a very survivable dps dealer.

Thoughts?

Do you want to be a threat tank or go straight DPS?  With the right Doffs, Boff abilities and traits you can do either.  You can't be just a tank unless you're only doing PVP, the threat system in the game is broken and if you're not doing enough damage a straight DPS build will pull the agro off of you.

Yeah... Maybe I'll use my Rom engy's for potential tank projects. Guess I'll just stay with deeps on my tac captain.
