How to obtain Khnial class for the Rumulan Republic?
#1
Hi all !

I saw on the STO Wiki an interesting ship class namely the Khnial Class adapted battlecruiser.
I was wondering is it still possible getting this ship or not? If not is there a ship that resembles this ships flexibility?

Thanks for helping !  Cool

ps: How do I obtain a Dreadnought cruiser?

Hello!

That ship in particular came from the Tal Shiar lock box. If you are familiar with how the lock boxes work, you'll know that these ships have quite a low drop rate from them. It's all luck of the draw!

The Tal Shiar lock box does not currently drop in game, but can be obtained via the exchange.

The ship can also be bought on the exchange if a player is selling the ship after getting it from a lock box, but don't expect it to be cheap!

As for your other question, Dreadnought Cruisers can be bought from the Zen Store. The new T6 Yamamoto Class is looking well!

So you can't get them at all through xp or ranking up correct?

RRF is a great faction! What allegiance did you choose?

There's still lots of other great ships, and you never know, you might be able to get that ship at some point in your STO career!!

You can get it off the lobi store I believe, but it will be a lot of lobi, and for that you will need to open tons of lock boxes, which will be expensive in real world money.

The light warbird battle cruiser t6 is a bit similar, or you could always go for the scimitar class which is used by the top end damage dealing players.

Ironically the Klingon but I made also a Starfleet Character and I deleted my KDF one.
Because I want to have a pure Starfleet character for this faction ^^

The Scimitar Class Warbirds are only available from the C-Store. You require ZEN to buy them. You get ZEN either by buying them for real money or by converting refined Dilithium into ZEN. The current, yet fluctuating rate is about 1 ZEN ~ 234 refined Dilithium.

Since I have a feeling, that you are interested in how to get certain other ships, I present to you the

List of playable Ships in Star Trek Online.

Just click on the Ship in question to get further info about it, including how to acquire it.
