Feel free to download and print the map, measure the distances and calculate. Wink

The distances are not obvious from the map and I am not sure if transwarp can be used for TtG as well.

I had thought about that when the walls came down. Looks trickier now!

I knew if I waited long enough to worry about this someone would have solved it: http://logicker.net/tour/tour.html using the classic traveling salesman algorithmic treatment.

The logicker.net routes are interesting....here's the route that I worked out for myself, using the Assimilated Engines from the Borg Omega set, and the Solanae core (warp/singularity) from the 4th Anniversary set:

I like the route, it's easy to remember, and by starting in the Alpha quad and warping to the Azure Nebula in the Beta, you avoid having to actually warp IN to a planetary system.

Morgan.

I have made a copy of the map. I try this daily with different ships and different ship gear. So far I have been able to clear alpha and all but six systems in beta with the route I have taken. I will post the map and all pertinent information on the ship, gear, doffs, etc., when I finish marking up the map with the route I have taken.

Not necessarily. You still get some rewards even if you don't complete the whole thing. That guide above is effectively showing you what you need if you want to complete it 100%, not the latter.
