Speculation about upcoming uniforms.

OK Delta Rising is coming on Oct 14, and with it lots of new things, including a new "class", Intelligence/Espionage.

Now, in Starfleet, Tactical wears reds, Science wears blues, and Engineering wears Yellows. So, what color do you suspect will become the "official" color of Intelligence, and why?

I am curious about more than what color, I want to know why you think it will be picked. I suspect most people will say black.

I myself think the color picked will be grey, being a more neutral color it is actually easier to blend in with it. Black does tend to stand out and catch the eye.

So what are your thoughts?

I don't think they will have any color. Tactical, Engineering, and Science are careers and Intelligence is a Specialization. These officers are basically hybrids. So they will be Tactical Intelligence, Engineering Intelligence, Science Intelligence.

Well, yes and no. What about Starfleet Medical Personnel? Science by Career, Medical by Specialization and they use a greenish color.

I guess, it depends whether the Intelligence personnel is more analytical or more operative. If operative, I tend to agree that black may be a viable option. If they are more analytical, I'd guess they stay with their career-specific color. But like the Thread title suggests, this is pure speculation.

Of course, and my speculation is that they won't have a color. If you go through the official STO uniform codes for Starfleet, no matter what the uniform is for they all use the red/blue/yellow colors in addition to the rest of the uniform colors. Hence my assumption that Intelligence won't get a specific color. If they do it would most likely be in addition to the main colors.
