Here is my entry for the STO Academy Uniform Contest. It is a variation of a uniform my Admiral Robert Warburton has been wearing for some time. It is also as close to the current STO Academy Cadet Uniform as I can make without spending C-Points to buy the cadet uniform. I threw in the tucked-in pants because the loose bottoms don't look as good without the cadet stripe down the side. This uniform allows for career colors to be displayed as a major part of the uniform. It also can easily be converted into a white tunic version for senior officers. (I made the change when Bob became an admiral, but if you wanted, it could be reserved for the higher ranking fleet officers)
You simply flip the first and second colors of the tunic.
