An interesting matchup at least in my opinion

Therefore, it would be less likely that a Scimitar would win.

I didn’t even think about that, but I felt for some reason there was more to it then I thought!

Salvaged tech from Nero's ship maybe, but that was still just a mining ship - surely no comparison to a Scimitar from the same era.

And even with Khan's tech - Khan may have been "super-human," but still limited by the resources of his century.

A closer match perhaps, but I fear not enough

Ultimately, it would really come down to the captain and crew. How many times have we seen inferior ships defeat far more powerful ship by way of superior tactics and intelligence? This is still your best weapon. Any tech or tool is only as good as its user.  Wink

Yes that’s true, but in a factor of these two ships you have to put all variables into account even with a superior crew it’s also that the big ship outsmarts the little. What if both had superior captains and crews?

Both technically would have "superior" captains wouldn't they?

I mean, you would have to put that into quite literal terms.

Either Admiral Marcus (who you would assume would be an exceptionally capable commander) or Khan commanding the Dreadnought, and then Shinzon (but lets be honest, it doesn't take a genius to reverse once a ship rams into you) commanding the Scimitar.

You would still have to consider the variables though! Khan would ultimately throw his toys out of the pram and board the Scimitar and just strangle everyone shouting "I AM BETTER" and I'm not sure that really counts lol

I’m just saying that made my day James! You make such a great point in every aspect. Shinzon was hell bent on killing Picard however that’s what Khan’s life revolved around so if we pitted Khan vs Shinzon. Khan would murder everyone and cave in their skulls. Shinzon would just be trying to save his own skin.

I like those tactics. No tech involved. Just an old school beat down.
