They really did it... Enterprise J is coming

So according to http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/USS_E...CC-1701-J) the Enterprise J is about 2 miles long.
And will still have the same amount of Consoles and Bridge Officers = Firepower as an T6 Escort. Makes perfectly sense.

But I do have to say... I really like the Romulan Ship. Looks like the embodiment of the Romulan Republic Emblem.

Edit: Obligatory Drop Chance addition:
Lockbox ship = ~.45% chance = 125 Zen for a key (95.6 Zen when buying a 20 Keyring on Sale)
Promotion ship = ~1.1% chance = 300 Zen promo pack (250 when buying the 4pack)
The odds are (somewhat) normalized with the cost.

Quote:(Hopefully they are not too huge in game....)

If you watch the video you can see the KDF ship flying next to the Enterprise. It is definitely smaller.
It didn't show a comparison for the Warbird, though. And given how big the Scimitars and the T'laru is I bet it is a huge as the E-J.

They just posted the Stats:

http://www.arcgames.com/en/games/star-tr...s-stats%21

EDIT: 2 Hangar Bays with Frigates paired with full 4/4 weapon slots and very high HP!

The Boff seats with 3x Lt. (Tac, Eng and Sci), Lt. Com Universal/Command and Command Eng/Temporal isn't the best possible (usually you have 1 Lt. Com + Ensign instead of 2x Lt). The Universal Seat will probably be given to a Tactical Boff by most players to get TT1/APB1/FAW3 + KLW1/APD1 or TS2.
It could also go to a Science Boff to go all out Exotic: up to 4 Temporal abilities plus 5 Science abilities has some potential, but then healing would then have to be enforced by consoles, and weapons won't get much out of 2 Tactical abilities.

As for the Romulan Ship size, the quote: "The largest Romulan capital ship ever built" says it all.

Overall I would lie if I said I'm not interested, especially into the Warbird.

TBH, i cringe at how the J looks in game. I always interpreted the only screen appearance to be in an oblique fisheye POV, not literally shaped like that... It was drawn up on the fly without any notice FFS!  Which is also why i cringe at the looks of the herald dreads all floating up there without even a field effect of some sort (it should of had some sort of magnetic force or cloud or electrical effect between the parts.

on the bright side, it should help lower the cost of the NX Refit and the Atlas.

Totally agree - it seems like a ship just for the specs rather than anything else...

But sure, who am I?  Big Grin

As flat as it is, I am forcing myself to see it like the Tardis: it is bigger inside than it appears...

Being a flying space / battle station it should not have been introduced into the game as it is.

a) those ships are from the future and therefore are far more advanced than what the current time has.
A future Enterprise should wipe it's *** with a current Enterprise. I don't see how they all can be T6 = same power level.
Same with those 31st Century ships btw.

b) the shear size of the E-J and other dreads already demands a different Tier than current ships.
Not that I want to have more power creep, but it just doesn't make any sense to put them on the same level as a tiny raider.

Just for the sake of giving a handful of players the chance to play these ships doesn't do them justice by
squeezing them into the T6 format. At least write something into the Canon/storyline why these suddenly show in our
timeline, and why they are not as strong as the 26th century originals.

I think it's a scathing indctment of where they see the game going in the future (say after the next maybe 5 years) when (all suspicions of the game shutting down being set aside) there is the possibility of another level cap and another Tier of ships and all that will have to change - what on earth happens then

Financially T7 would make sense, at least for Cryptic. Everybody would want to jump on to them sooner or later, dropping more money on the game. It won't happen soon, as they still have some ships left to convert to T6. And the space balance has to happen first as well. But eventually it will happen, I have no doubt about . At some point current players will be saturated with T6 ships, and don't have anything else to strive for/drop money on.

So I had the chance to look at some of these up close (probably like most did).
The E-J is still hideous, but I have to admit I like the Warbird, and wouldn't mind to see a vid of it with all visuals.
But I won't won't buy X amount of packs to get one, as I don't trust my luck. And even then I might be
tempted to just sell it for 250+ keys (current price peeps are willing to pay!).

Will these some day be included into the Infinity Box?
