Raidcall part 2
#1
I just got back into using voice comms while playing STO and the last few days have been awesome. Its nice to hear the voice behind the ship so to speak. If you don't use Raidcall I would highly recommend it. Its so much better than typing and a lot easier to help people with their builds. If you don't have a mic or are shy you can still come on and listen to us. To make it easiest as possible I have included a link to DL raid call as well and a link to instructions to get ya started. Hope to hear ya soon

Is raidcall only used for Fleet events only or do you use it anytime. When ever I use it there is not one on.

You can use it anytime. Right now there is about 3-4 of us that I have seen on it outside of an event

We primarily use it for some events, but there are no restrictions. Use it whenever you like Smile

I just wanted to say that I've been spending a lot of spare time on RaidCall. The lounge is a fantastic place to 'hang out.' I have learned so much from fellow Fleet members, that I literally have a legal pad to jot down the blizzard of advice and recommendations that has been discussed. I HIGHLY recommend stopping by. As of late, we have been online in the early to late evening. (Eastern Time in the USA)

Even if you prefer not to speak (which I don't recommend, we won't bite!) I am very confident that you'll learn at least 1 useful item in a day. This is a statement in my personal ideology..."There are no silly questions, only silly answers." I feel honored and privileged to have received so much sage advice from veteran members of our Fleet.

I hope to see you in the lounge! Best regards, Munshower

I will be dropping in soon. However, being on the west coast, there might not be anyone there.

I definitely think we should try to make use of RaidCall more often for things like PvE Queue runs. Being able to communicate and alert other players is so handy.

Afterall, we've all experienced that moment when we desperately need a healer, but can't contact whiever ship has a suitable heal quick enough!

Our RaidCall Group is set up with several Team channels, which are meant for exactly that purpose.
