While I can understand the frustration that comes with AFKers, I really dislike posting a Blacklist here.

The solution to circumvent the AFKers-Problem is simple: Don't PUG. Instead team up with Fleet mates. Problem solved and efficiency gained.

Looks like a sh1t-list that anyone can put anyone on, with no control or verification whatsoever.

Doesn't the game already give them a 24 hour penalty or something for being afk?

I had to afk the other day to run my wife something at her job, and when I got back I had a message saying I was kicked for idle time at 60 minutes.

That's a standard STO feature. If anyone doesn't play for 60 minutes the game kicks you out. Probably to save resources.

They are talking about being afk in a fleet action or stf. Some players will join the match and just sit there in order to get the rewards without having to help.

Some of us don't have that option. My fleet has two active players, and the other one lives five time zones away so we're rarely playing at the same time.

Once you have one character in the STO Academy you can join our chat channel account wide, and run adventures with our groups with all your characters.
(Though some things, like WarGames, we would prefer if you participated with the character who is in the fleet.)

I'm thinking about leaving the current fleet entirely. On the one hand, I'd like to be a fleet where I can actually play with fleetmates and where we can get projects done regularly (it took us months of work just to get our holdings up to T1 so we could make provisions and buy things on other fleets' holdings). On the other hand, I feel a bit guilty about leaving the other guy as last man standing.
