Series names for Star Trek - codius1988 - 03-11-2018
Star Trek, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek Voyager, Star Trek Enterprise, Star Trek Discovery....
Can anyone guess what do most of them have in common? (other than the obvious)
I am about to work on my STO Character fanfics and am thinking of a name for the series...
Star Trek:Fludicus must be bit too much... Anyone got better ideas?

Most of them has a subtitle after a name of the ship, which protagonist is fluing (ST: Enterprise, ST: Voyager, ST Discovery, ST: Deep Space Nine [It is technically a vessel after all xD]) so why not go along on this road? Name your series after your main starship.

Yeah i think i got what you mean xD
It is hard to suggest anything when i know nothing about a story or the character, but maybe you could name your serie by the name of the Archenemy of your character? Or after the superweapon of enemy faction, or if you will put game content into your story, then maybe you would consider name it after one of your fleet holdings.
For example if you are in our Militia Fleet, you could name it "Star Trek: Achilles" after Militia's Starbase name. Or even after your character name: "Star Trek: Commander Smith" for example.

that is why I am considering Star Trek : Fludicus... but then again it seems too self serving...

technically, you don't *HAVE* to even have "Star Trek:" as part of the main title... IIRC, ENT didn't have ST: until a few episodes into the series, just the "based on Star Trek by Gene Roddenberry" part.
anyways, how about naming it "Fast & Fludicious"? lots of action packed franchise potential there!

Fast and Fludicious? Well... that sounds like some of those racing movies...
I better stick to the conventional.... just to be safe
