If you chasing for DPS there are several options I would recommend:

1. All your beams should have at least [CrtD]x2  if you can get [CrtD]x3 then it good, if you can get [CrtD]x4 or [CrtD]x3 [pen] than its outstanding

2. Tactical slots are only for Vulnerability locators
3. Keep science consoles and leech. It's awesome to have them.
4. I personally would drop other consoles and get Tachiokinetic, bioneural ( elachi console from lobi store, not sure if I spell it correctly) and zero-point energy consoles. it will pull up your DPS.
5. Deflector - undine, engine - Romulan (not Reman), shield - you can keep MACO (I use Dyson shield)
6. Choose reputation space traits that increase your Critical chance and severity.
7. Get Romulan operative from the embassy (blue version). For Science boff putt potato as he has a pirate trait that improve your damage. Also, if your diplomacy is on the high level, you can get Nausicaan as he also has a pirate trait.

Otherwise, if DPS is not your goal then you have very good build.
But this is my opinion...

Thanks for recommendations. I'm not totally going for DPS but would like to make some good changes to improve my numbers.

Dear Charvey,
First of all, as a fellow flyer of the fleet avenger, I can tell you that with the right setup, it is a joy to fly. This here looks like a very good build, so i just have a couple of pointers.

Weapons- I would replace ( once you are able to) all the DBB's with regular MK XIV with as many ctd modifiers as possible, this will greatly improve your dps. I would get rid of the fluidic antiprotons first as they can be really annoying by pushing the target out of other player's ranges. Aft weapons are spot on for this type of build.

Set- Adapted MACO- very good, I use it and has worked great. although I myself might change for the new iconian deflector which seems very good for tanking.

Consoles- Tac consoles- spot on   Science consoles- looking at you powers, I can not see how the flow modifier will be of any use to you ( no shield drain abilities, which you shouldn't have anyway with the limited science powers on this ship.) I would swap them out for shield science consoles, such as fleet emitter arrays, the bio neural gel pack, or field generators to boost shield survivability. I would try to get 1 of the fleet neutronium consoles which will greatly improve your damage resistance, perhaps with a turn modifier to replace your RCS (  for reference, see my build, which has a run rate of 26 with no RCS's.) Otherwise, very good.

Powers- It appears that you have gone for an aux 2 bat build, which I have very little experience on... But if you want to max out DPS on this ship, it would be best to use the universal slot for a tactical boff, for more beam abilities. I would swap your science powers the other way round ( with science team II) as you will need strong shield heals, while the tractor beam nullifying effect of polarize hull can be achieved with I.

Anyway, this is already a very good build, and I hope that you will find the avenger as fun as I have.

Good Luck,

AAAICT

Thanks for some of your pointers. I am running a Plasmonic Leech in my setup so the flow modifiers are helpfull. It will take a while to replace the DDB's but will get started.

And I do really enjoy flying this baby.

RE: My battle Cruiser - eaglescoutdjb - 06-07-2015

I'd recommend swapping around some of your boff abilities.  For tactical I'd use Omega 1, BFAW 2, Kemocite 1 and Tac Team 1 and for science I'd use Hazard Emitters 2 and Transfer Shield Strength 1.  Also setup a keybind, I use the one in this video.  Just put both of your emergency power abilities, DEM, your tactical abilities and the Aux2Bats on tray 10 and you can use what ever key you set the keybind to to fire them.  Except for Kemocite those changes are cheap and should make a big difference in your DPS.  I'd also swap out your science consoles for Plasma Generating Weapon Nullifiers, there's people out there doing 75k and 100k DPS that those consoles are their second highest source of damage.  A respec wouldn't be bad idea, I can recommend a build to follow, but isn't as important unless you're looking for really high DPS.

Again some great pointers. I have made the doff changes you suggested. I am already using the keybind. I do not know much about the kemocite other than it's friggin expensive in the exchange. I have also swapped out the nullifiers for the plasma one.

Again thanks for all the pointers

Well glad you like it, and good luck with replacing the DBB's. Unless you're sitting on a mountain load of EC ( which you probably do if you have a Plasmonic Leech) it will take a while to get weapons at mk XII with  CRTD x3. After getting advised to switch my cannons from fleet to CRTD, iv only got 1, at a cost of around 6 million ec with buying it for 3 million at VIII and upgrading it all the way to MK XIV.

Anyway, good luck

RE: My battle Cruiser - eaglescoutdjb - 06-12-2015

I wonder sometimes if it isn't better to just buy what you want.  It takes forever to craft crtdx2/pens and so much dilithium if you want to get them to epic.  I'm thinking about not upgrading what I have and just using it till I can buy what I need to finish my build.

RE: My battle Cruiser - charvey - 06-12-2015

Just looking on the Exchange. MkII Antiproton Beam Arrays VR Crtdx2 and pen are going for 3.5M.  And the Mk XIVs are 11.5M. UR are in the 40M range
Just too much
