The tactical version is a joke... what you're going to do with that many tac boff slots? plus the extra survivability with a sci or eng boff makes up the extra tac console slot.
The science seems very viable for both PvE and PvP. especially with the embassy consoles.
They're beautiful ships, they would be a scary thing to go against in pvp, they are going to have massive dps. But as a non-escort captain I'm going to have to pass on buy these ships.

3 energy buff consoles and 2 torp buff consoles. Or you could do some combination of that and slot in some of your universal consoles into the extra slot. Plenty of valid ways to use 5 Tac console slots.

Not too crazy about the crew rating, will be waiting on input from others who purchase this ship.
I agree - when my Destroyers have so much more, I think I'll stick with them and use my zen for more Doff slots Smile
You can make them all do absurd damage (5 tactical consoles and 5/2 layout!) but I think the Sci one is probably the best. Marginally less damage, but still.
So anyone bought these yet/have thoughts on them now that they are actually in game?
Looks good. But is that a cartoon face on the wall behind the captain?

Looking forward to how it plays out longer term, but think it's going to be a big thing
They are patching today - fixing the shields on them so they'll be a little bit tougher
The Adorian escorts, as a tactical-centric ship line, has been a lot of fun for me. So much so that I'm actively using both the Kumari and Charal variants. While the ship falls within Cryptic's "balance" doctrine it's different enough to be an experience all its own and has a great deal of synergy for a tactical captain. The special consoles are VERY useful and well thought out for their respective roles, without being OP.

I've clocked several hours in the platform, and would be very happy to answer questions.
