STO Academy Forum

Instead of creating new threads for each event I decided to sum them up in one thread. There are some things to know, when it comes to my events:

When the event does not allow for cross-faction teams, the event will benefit the STO Academy Legion fleet only. This is indicated by the word Legion in the Event title.
The use of Discord is mandatory. No exceptions. (Click to View)
1. Typing orders in team chat is a time-consuming distraction, that is in risk of being recognized too late in combat.
2. If some explaining needs to be done, then typing it all out in chat takes way too much time.
Therefore I will not use the ingame text chat. You don't need a microphone. Listening in to orders and explanations will suffice. If you think your PC can't handle the load, then you can download Discord to your mobile devices.

Below is a list of the events, that I'm doing occassionally. Next to their title is the next time and date of when the event is happening next. Those times are in CET. Although the fleet event calendar does the conversion for you, I added a time-conversion link for your convenience.

This is a three hours lasting event for those fleet members, who are willing to try out any weird / silly stuff like for example doing "The Breach" in Small Crafts only.

The action is not pre-determined and will be decided upon randomly.

In order to participate, you must be able to meet the following criteria:
- Must have a level 65 character, who is able to do Ground Combat and is ready to equip
  - an EV-Suit for Nukara Prime / Defend Rh'Ihho Station
  - a Toxic-resistance Armor for Bug Hunt
  - a 3pc Ground Set from Task Force Omega Rep for the Integral Frequency Remodulator OR
  - an epic TR-116B Rifle OR
  - a non-plasma-based Melee Weapon.
- Must have a combat-worthy Small Craft, favorably a Fighter
- Must have a Carrier with Two-Hangar Bays
- Having a combat-rigged Tuffli Freighter / Suliban Cell Ship for extra Giggles would be a nice Bonus, but that is optional.

This is a two hours lasting Space PvE Queue run for all Fleet members of level 50+. For all this to work, we need a team of five in order to make this count for the Specialist Commendations.

What Space PvE Queues are played will be decided on a case to case basis. If fleet members need to play certain maps to complete Warfare Specialist commendations, then those will be considered first.

The event is dedicated to true Carriers, which means you need to bring a T5-U or T6 Carrier with two Hangar Bays. Elite Pets are not mandatory, but understandably preferred.

The event is dedicated to Destroyers and Warships that utilize the Destroyer & Warship Starship Mastery Package. Ironically, the Dyson Science Destroyers do NOT qualify for this event as they use the Science Vessel Starship Mastery package.

I regert to inform though that the destroyer event is a no go for me...

Two-Hangar-Carrier Engagements event moved from Thursday, 18th Oct 2018 to Saturday, 20th Oct 2018.

New Event type: "Silly funtime with TP". In that event, we are doing random stuff that would seem weird / silly under "normal" circumstances. OP has been updated accordingly. Read it up there.
