This is probably the third time they've done this. I think its great that the keep going back and revamping older missions to not only improve them but also improve the overall story.

I like the bit about actually removing whole story lines from the mission log as some of them were just a big pain in the ass to grind through to get to the next arc.
Certainly looks like some positive changes, and nice to see that they've said any Delta/Temporal/Gamma Recruit Tasks that are affected by the removed missions will just be auto-completed!

Since they are talking about more stuff in regards to discovery. Do you guys think it will come out in a month or two? I was thinking more November or Dec was when they were going to bring it out.
I am looking forward to the new stuff and seeing how they revamp the old stuff.

Apparently they will still be available, but accessed through the sector maps.
They said this fall AoD was coming out didn't they? So that's only around the corner really
These are great changes indeed. I like the idea of making the episodes more attractive. I hope the STF missions will be revamped, too, in order to make them more popular and, first and foremost, more populated.
Anyways, it's good and nice to see that they're still working on STO and try to improve it.

Certainly if the Borg STF's were queued up with the Borg Story Missions then that would be great - however since even those aren't max level missions, they may be just as frustrating as the run of the mill pug.
It's going to be a roll of the dice on that one. Can't wait to see what comes of it!
