What do you guys think? Excited? Not excited?
Something else to grind spec points for, so decidedly not excited.
Could be useful against bosses. But already there is too much choice for the spec trees.

OK it took a second look cos the first time I did I just got out of bed.

I suddenly found that it could fit Fludicus after all... I thought of it. gameplay-wise and RP wise...

With the end of the big wars, what is he gonna do?

Just looked at Tribble for some data:
  • Tier 1: Close the Gap II
    • While facing Antogonist +30% Flight / Run Speed
  • Tier 1: Confiscate
    • Space: Weapons gains +5% chance to remove 5 longest duration buffs from Antagonist
    • Ground: Weapon gains +10% chance to remove 5 longest duration buffs from Antagonist
  • Tier 1: Eye on the Prize II
    • To Antogonist: -30 to -240 Stealth (increases over time)
  • Tier 1: Singular Focus
    • +30 All Damage Resistance Rating to damage not from Antagonist (must have an Antagonist for this bonus to apply)
  • Tier 1: Subdue II
    • +30% Bonus Control Ability Effectiveness vs Antagonist
  • Tier 1: Tunnel Vision II
    • +60 Resistance Rating to Control Effects not from Antagonist (must have an Antagonist for this bonus to apply)
  • Tier II: Tear Down
    • +10% Bonus All Damage vs Antagonist
  • Tier II: Crack Down
    • Space: Weapon gains 10% chance for -33.3% Turn rate to Antagonist
    • Ground: Weapon gains 20% chance for -33.3% Run speed to Antagonist
  • Tier II: Wear Down
    • Space: -10% to -80% Hull Repair to Antagonist
    • Ground: -10% to -80% Health Regeneration to Antagonist
  • Tier II: Within Reach II
    • Space: Weapon gains 10% chance for -33.3% Turn rate to Antagonist
    • Ground: Weapon gains 20% chance for -33.3% Run speed to Antagonist

Like meantioned by Trudard it could be useful against Bosses, but I also think it would be useful in PvP- However PvP is broken, so it's rather pointless there atm.
I'm pretty bleh about it especially considering that in many of the pve's the whole idea is to get in there and kill everything as quickly as possible (think STF's). Am thinking under those circumstances there wouldn't be any ships/bosses around long enough to become an Antagonist for the purposes of the bonuses conferred by the specialization anyway.

Indeed I can think of only CCA where it might be useful even then the boss dies fairly quickly if you have a lot of high dps players.
