It's really good to be back in the captain's chair after just over half a year. Following unemployment and a laptop that died I'm finally back commanding the U.S.S. Propitiation.  A lot seems to have changed - the alpha quadrant map has expanded and the changes to my build with Season 13 have been challenging!

Anyway, I'm glad to be back in STO and the Academy fleet and look forward to many more adventures in the future!  

Quick question though - I feel like a new ship.  My first major ship was an Andorian Kumari Escort.  My current ship is a Fleet Arbiter Battle-cruiser which I do love because it look more "Starfleet."  I'm liking the look of the T6 flag ship cruisers but I notice the Fleet has chosen the Intel Cruiser for the new Fleet Flag Ship.  

Any thoughts on which way is best to go?

Welcome back! I hope you got my invite ok Wink

Ship choice is really up to you! All on how you want to play. Sure there's different stats, but don't let that sway you.

If you go from battlecruiser to the star cruisers, that's quite something to adapt too, they're very slow.

The Arbiter T6 is one of my favourite ships! It wouldn't be a bad choice to go from the T5 to the T6.

But like I said, it's all personal choice

I'm loving the t6 bortesqu', but then I'm loving being a damage soaking delight. Put the jem shields on as vanity/looks option and it's gorgeous. If you're a lts, the t6 destroyers are nice, too
