yea, finding a mutual time is the current problem, since now we have a strategy... when we do, ill switch some traits around to maximize my stealthiness
We were SO close last night. A breakdown of communication is what let us down.

We got through all three stages, but simply ran out of time without focusing on a singular target... I'm thinking that's where we should pop off as many of the Romulan D'Deridex consumables as we can afford... that would at least double our ship count, if there's a cooldown limit on those things... if there isn't, pop off as many as possible in the first minute and let them gnaw away at the Voth while we gang bang and Grav Well the hell out of the Undine.
I think we're in need of some more DPS. I don't see how we'll get through all 3 dreads in the time frame.

Hopefully I can push up to 50K when the next up-grade weekend rolls around...

In the meantime, I think our strategy is sound. Maybe we all pop our Nimbus/Delta/Rom Rep ships one at a time to help us for the last stage, but other than that, I think it's purely a question of firepower to get through the Voth and Borg ships. The fact that the Tethys ran away and hid made it more of a challenge!

One question though - the options window says "Defeat one Dreadnought"... does this mean the timer is meant to re-set after one has been destroyed to give us some more time to kill the other two? I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the timer kept going even after we'd killed the Tethys?

from what was inferring from that, it means that you get one bonus for each of the dreds if they are killed in that allotted time, but are dependant on getting through all three for it to be awarded. I also noticed that the timers are completely independant of each other. From that, it is only supposed to take 90 seconds for each to die if we want the stacked bonuses. 5 minutes is all we have to work with for the boss round.

There's probably someone who's done the math on it for averaged team DPS requirements... exactly why I'm doubling up on how to boost my EPG to see if a GW3>TP1>DRB2>SIC1 attack would do better...
GW3 = Gravity Well.
Can you tell me what the others are? I thought I knew the abbreviations, but obviously not.

Grav well 3 => tachyon pulse 1 => Destabilizing Resonance Beam 2 => Structural Integrity Collapse 1
that's what I had in mind for part of my "hat trick" attack  tray bind to go with Exotic particle flood battery, Singularity manipulation, Radiant Subatomic Pulse, and Tertyon Discharge from the Active Reputation abilities.
I'm looking up other usages now...
I know this post is over a month old, but did you guys ever manage to get the Commendation?

Sadly Kavyk, there aren't enough DPS players in the fleet, let alone in similar time zones, to achieve any of these types of commendations. Would suggest going for the individual ones or the pve que ones instead.

We are still interested in doing this and we have all been working on boosting our dps up to the necessary levels to defeat the bosses as easily as we could do in advanced mode. I was talking about it with mdj just the other day. I'm right at 50k dps already, which is good since from my last post in this thread i was at 30k. We already have the tactics to get us to the boss round, all we were missing till now is the firepower to shut that shit down like Lucille being thirsty.

This challenge will be completed soon. I guarantee it!
