....and no I'm not talking about the website....
talking about the star system for 2 or 3 diplomatic missions that are available there. How does one "gain" entrance? I have tried the typical way and have gotten nothing... is there some secret handshake? A leg that has to be humped?
I believe Memory Alpha was closed when the new Crafting system was introduced. So you actually can't get on the surface anymore.

Yup that's it.
I didn't think about it until now, but what happened to those diplomatic missions? I actually enjoyed the Ferengi ones.
THe diplomatic missions probably can't be resolved until the locations are moved. I don't seem to find any info about that.
Perhaps it was a complete oversight!
From the wiki it looks as though they were scrapped. Which doesn't make any sense. I floated a ticker to ARC or whomever about those missions. I do not believe it is fair that because something was changed we no longer have access to something like Diplomatic Missions.
Thank you everyone for the info! At least I won't go beating my brains in trying to get to that system... lol....
They should have done same as with nebulas/clusters, make them available in that sector or special trigger.
I'm not in my PC so it's hard to look for it, but you're probably not the only person that noticed it, maybe there's their answer about it somewhere on official Forums.
While the new crafting system made memory alpha practically redundant, I still don't think that cryptic should be removing things from the game altogether, especially cannon places like memory alpha
I've seen this discussed by the developers on the official forum. Their answer is basically the same as for the exploration clusters. It's not up to their current standards so rather than allowing people to see an inferior area they closed it. Seems like a lame excuse to me, but that's the one they went with. As for why they didn't keep those missions available, I can only assume they didn't think anyone would miss them.
I guess I do see the point though. I'm sure the memory space of an area like that can be used more reasonably. But in that case, they should close classic risa then
