STO Academy Forum

Hello. It's my first post so go easy on me, please...

Anyways, I'm relatively new to the game, and with my first character I rolled a Romulan engineer, got him to 50, and bought the Engineering Scimitar. Now, I've been looking for builds, or a guide, or something to tanking with this ship, but it seems like everyone just builds dps/tactical ships in game. 

Is tanking a thing in STO? Am I looking in the wrong spots for these, or should I reroll this toon and buy a tactical ship?

Tanking is definitely a thing. Post your current build in the Skill Planner section and we can walk through making it happen for you.

There are currently 36 Falchion builds of Engineers available at the Skill Planer. Have you taken a look at them yet?

Ah, now I feel stupid. I saw the build category on the forums, but had no idea that I could search the skill planner =/ Thanks for the advice!
