STO Academy Forum

When the game first came out I had a subscription. I had not logged into my Cryptic account since then. I have heard that past subscribers get some of the benefits of subscribers. Maybe extended storage ect?

PWE can’t link my new PWE to my old Cryptic account. They can link it to a new PWE account if I want. So I would get my old character back and whatever benefits there are to being a past subscriber.

Problem is my new character gets deleted. I really don’t want to do that unless there is a decent benefits. Suggestions?

I'd be tempted - lvl 21 is not too much investment.

Thanks for the info. I got into my old account today. I think the benefits are probably worth starting over.

Honestly, this game is so easy to level in, I've already deleted two 50's and leveled them both back as different races/genders. As Attilio said, you need to decide if it's worth it. BTW, welcome back and we have a really awesome inter-fleet PvP competition each month, look forward to seeing you there!

Yeah it only took a couple of weeks to get into the 20s. It is probably worth the restart for the inventory space alone. One thing though - I don't see the Academy chat as a channel option now. Maybe I have to get an invite to that channel?
