Nice beam boat, I would have added the other components of the Borg and Romulan space sets.
Mayhem, I think that the aux to bat is often a PvP build, and the space sets referred to the ones we get eg omega,

I also use plasma and find it jolly effective in PvE

Oh sure you betcha.
Thanks for the feedback. I was mainly considering PVE, hence the plasma. I keep reading how aux 2 bat is the only way to go on the main STO forums. I know it's only an opinion, but it is a popular one.
I have 4x mk 11 anti proton mags, and enough fleet ap beam arrays as well, so what I am mainly asking is did I get the boff skills and captain skill points done properly? I have access to 3 x purple tech doffs as well.
BOFF skill allocation is fine. Plasma is fine, although it's often resisted in PvP. You could run cannons if you wanted more spike damage, but since you've got all those expensive plasma synergies you may as well use them. You could potentially ditch RSP for a copy of Eject Warp Plasma, which would obviously boost your damage at the cost of some survivability, since you'll have like... maxed out shield power all the time anyway. You could consider taking Polarise Hull and Hazards, rather than Energy Siphon and Hazards, but Energy Siphon isn't a bad idea actually. A Plasmonic Leech might be a handy addition, as it happens, and serve a similar purpose.
Obviously the build only works if you've got several high-quality Technician duty officers, and you'll offer nothing to your team but damage, but you'll do very solid dps with it. Fearsome, if a bit more fragile than some cruisers.
Best of luck.
Thanks for the feedback, Seedy!
The A2B is a pretty awesome DPS machine... but you'd need a tank or something to back you up.
The Chel Grett build is an awesome tank/DPS, so I love it.
Altogether, SUCCESS!
