We need serious help. We have to make a foundry mission for an assignment in class. We don't know how to start a mission on a map or beam to the map to get the mission started. Itll do the animation but it will bring us back to the same spot we were trying to leave. Please help!!!

Its an intro to film humanities course but the professor only taught through Star Trek. Which i'm not complaining about. Its just the fact we cant figure out how to begin in a map while playing we can set everything else up in the foundry we just dont know how to map jump.

Anyone with experience of creating Foundry missions? - Is it difficult to create a mission?

It depends on the mission you want to create. There is definitely a learning curve on how to use it, but plenty of great instructions out there.

Something simple using existing maps can be easy. Once you get into custom maps, things can get complicated and take a lot of time. Again, it's all depending on what you're creating. I recommend looking at some tutorials, playing around with it, create a bunch of smaller missions for testing. Then decide if you want to put in the effort.

That's pretty much what I did, I've created and deleted so many maps, either what I wanted to do was too complicated or it was just for learning. Either way it helped improve my skills.
